New Kornhaus Management
Since October 1st, our customers have noticed new faces at Kornhaus: Our new Kornhaus managers, Mona Hübner and Gabriel Lopez, have started their work.
Mona and Gabriel immigrated to Germany from Mexico in the spring/summer. For Mona, it was a homecoming. She grew up in Steinheim/Murr. For Gabriel, her husband, it was a new beginning.
They both had been planning to open a restaurant in Germany. It was during this time that they came across our job posting and applied for the position.
A series of intensive discussions followed. After all, it wasn’t “just” about managing a restaurant. It was very important to us that they could also identify with Saatkorn’s concept of holistic integration. Both of them have firsthand experience of the process of integrating into a foreign culture. Therefore, they can very well understand the effort and pressure that our participants experience here in Germany. Both considered this additional task a major plus.
They started their new roles with enthusiasm and motivation. We are very relieved and pleased that this will not only allow us to maintain the high quality of the Kornhaus, but also that our participants will have two more attentive and supportive individuals by their side.
In addition to her daily work at the Kornhaus, Mona will be responsible for the “Marketing” department. You may have already noticed our attractive new social media advertising. Gabriel will also be responsible for “Sales,” filling a significant gap that has plagued us for years.
A warm welcome to Mona and Gabriel! May your contributions to the Saatkorn Project be richly rewarding!
