Our Garden
This summer, we were able to enjoy our beautiful garden in many different ways:
On July 18th, we celebrated our summer festival in glorious weather. Mahir and his helpers provided us with excellent food. This year, we were also able to award two seed certificates at the festival. And unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Friedburg Taut, our Kornhaus Café manager.
We wish all three of them God’s abundant blessings and guidance for their future.
Throughout the summer, Andres and the participants tended to several raised beds. The harvest was impressive: quite a few kilograms of vegetables were gathered. The pumpkin plants, in particular, thrived in the raised beds and, after harvesting, were transformed into delicious pumpkin soup. Homemade pumpkin soup is always the best!
